How to Apply:

Always sharpen your True Lips lipstick definer lip liner pencil before using it. This will help you to produce a sharp precise line. Outlining the lips should be in stages drawing the lines softly using light strokes.  Hold the liner pencil at a 45-degree angle and start by sketching in the ‘V’ in the middle of the top lip. This this is known as the cupids bow and creates a good starting point for the rest of your lips.

Draw a line from the top of the bow down to the corner outlining the natural lip line only. Work outwards to each corner but don’t extend past the natural lip line.  Going beyond will cause the lips to appear unnatural giving the appearance of an “O” ring around the lips.  After defining fill  in the entire lips with the liner. This gives the  lipstick something to adhere to and increases the staying power of the lipstick.

For fuller looking lips the technique is to use a slightly darker liner to define the bow and the middle of the bottom lip only .

For a natural look use a liner that best matches your natural lip tone. Using a liner one shade darker will make them look fuller and defined.
