Always moisturise the face first and leave for a few minutes to absorb into the skin. Moisturising helps even out the skin balance and the foundation will blend more smoothly.
Apply a small amount of foundation to the back of your hand (about 1.5cm diameter) and dip the tip of the brush into about a third of the foundation. Dot on the face to the forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin areas; repeat until all the foundation has been used. Next using light gentle backwards and forwards strokes of the brush blend the foundation together. At the forehead make sure you blend the foundation up to the hairline and outwards to temples. Blend lightly under the eyes and over the cheeks. Take care around the nose and nostrils areas to make sure the crevices are covered. Using the side of the brush is best for this area. Blend the foundation from the chin and jaw line down the side of the neck and throat to avoid an obvious line. Applying foundation using this method will ensure you have a light even covering of foundation.
To keep your foundation application at it’s best you should regularly clean your brush to avoid feathering. The Brushegg is a new hand tool made for the job.
