Why soap is better for the environment

Washing with liquid soap uses more than six times the amount of liquid to accomplish the same task than using a soap bar.

Liquid soap has a greater carbon footprint (10x) than that of a bar of soap due to the chemicals used in manufacturing liquid soap.

Liquids soap also requires more energy for packaging production and disposal than a bar of soap.

The chemicals in liquid soap require far more wastewater treatment than those used in producing a bar of soap.
